Ora Ora Eco Wellness Resort offers peaceful and comfortable accommodation in private little villas in subtropical gardens in the historic Stone Store Basin of Kerikeri.
The resort is situated in the midst of the Kerikeri River's Nature Reserve - away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to Kerikeri's charming town centre.
Three of the private villas with views into the beautiful sub-tropical permaculture gardens are fully equipped with telephone, WIFI, bicycle; they are self-contained with lounge, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, and air-conditioning. They provide the perfect ambiance for an enjoyable and productive stay.
The resort is organic and chemical-free.
At Maora Wellness Centre various massages, herbal spa bath and sauna and organic meals at Makai Restaurant are available based on prior booking at extra charges.
The weekly prices are for the set minimum period of 2 months.
A final cleaning fee of NZ$70 will be charged at the end of stay.
In the winter months from June until September, a surcharge of $50/week is required to cover heating costs.
Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
Occasionally, free rides to town/supermarket and other activities with Rolf & Inge or other residents are available. Free collection from Kerikeri Airport or Bus Stop.
If shorter periods are exceptionally agreed, a surcharge of 50% applies. For short stays, the villas are available on B&B basis at NZ$280 single/480 double per day with a sumptuous organic breakfast and daily room service included.

Region: The name "The Winterless North" indicates the moderate sub-tropical climate: neither too hot nor too cold. Citrus and avocado orchards are plentiful. The Bay of Islands is one of New Zealand's tourist attractions with various water sports, walking tracks, beaches, majestic Kauri trees, wild animals like dolphins, whales and even kiwis. There are no dangerous animals like snakes! Inge & Rolf are happy to advise on recreational activities for work-free days. Two nice restaurants as well as a Maori replica museum village are located within walking distance.
